The government of Karnataka established Common Entrance Test Cell in 1994.  The main intention of forming this cell is to conduct common entrance examination for the candidates and provide the qualified candidates with admissions into various engineering and medical colleges.  Candidates will be given admission into under graduation courses in the state of Karnataka.  The Common Entrance Test Cell is responsible to conduct CET exam and to dispense the results of the same.  It also releases the merit list of the same after the results are out.  It conducts CET exam and gives admission in Medical, Dental, Indian Systems of Medicine and Homeopathy, Engineering/Architecture courses, Farm sciences, B.Sc Agriculture, B.Sc Sericulture, B.Sc Horticulture, B.Sc Forestry, B.Sc Agri Bio Tech, BHSc Home Science, B.Tech Agri Engg, B.Tech Food Technology, B.Tech Dairy Tech, B.FSc Fisheries, B.Tech Food Science&Tech, B.Sc Agri Marketing and Cooperation, B.Pharma, Pharma-D courses.

In order to expand the CET Cell activities and services, the Government by order No. ED. 212 TEC 2006 has converted the Common Entrance Test Cell into autonomous body under Societies Registration Act 1960 and named it as Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).

KEA CET Karnataka Result 2016

The Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) is the one that is responsible to dispense the results of Karnataka CET exam.  It dispenses the results of CET exam in the month of May, 2016.  It is expected that the result will be out on 28th of May, 2016.  So, all the candidates who have appeared for the KEA CET exam are advised to visit the official site of the board.  The KEA every year dispenses the results of CET exam in the month of May through its official page.  This year too it is expected that the results will be out in the same month and the date is expected to be on 28th of May.  The official site of the KEA board where the candidates need to check their results is kea.kar.nic.in.  So candidates who took Karnataka CET exam in this functional year are advised to go visit the aforementioned site and check their CET exam results.

The results will contain the rank and score obtained by the candidate.  Candidates who have passed the CET exam will be later called for counseling.  The qualifying and eligible candidates will be called for the counseling process.  In the counseling the candidates will be allotted with the seats into various colleges in various professional courses by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) board.

How to check KEA CET Results 2016?

• Go to the official page of Karnataka Examination Authority board i.e., kea.kar.nic.in.
• In the official page check for Karnataka CET results 2016 link and click on it.
• On clicking you will be directed to a new page where you need to enter your hall ticket number.
• After entering your hall ticket number press submit button.
• On submission your results will be displayed on the screen.
• Make a print out of your result for future use.
